Fiesta Farms visited school!

Hello, llama!

Cohen and his friends at school intrigued by the aforementioned llama!

Cohen asked Ms. Marcy to pick him up so he could get a better look (and feel!)...

...but the llama wasn't having it! :(

That's okay, though - we found the goats!

Ms. Lauren giving Cohen and his friends some food for the goats!

Cohen feeding the goat - with absolutely NO reluctance whatsoever!

Trying so hard to reach the bunny rabbit!

I like to call this one, "Oh my!!"

After several minutes of standing back and watching this little pony, Cohen finally worked up the courage to give him a pat!

Checking out the ducks!

Cohen petting the sweet little piglet!

Look at these bunnies!!

Ms. Marcy holding the bunny for Cohen to pet - he tried to take it out of her hands - good thing Ms. Marcy had a good grip! :)

All of Cohen's class checking out the rabbits one last time!

Fiesta Farms (a local petting zoo) visited our school today. We had a lot of fun and I was so glad I got to go out with Cohen's class. It was great to see their little faces when they got to see the animals. Learning about new things is always - well - simply awesome in the eyes of a toddler! Love it! :)

Valentine's love!

Cooolll!!! Mimmy, Jeffery, and Jaxson got me a tent for Valentine's Day! Wahoo!

Fun stuff! (notice Momma inside the tent...he wouldn't come in until someone else went in with him...)

"Cyde? Cyy-yde?" Cohen wanting his dog (Clyde) to come in the tent with him...

...don't mind if I do!

 Daddy and silly Cohen!

Found a balloon at Tina and Trey's house for the Valentine's party!

Coloring and making a card for daddy!

Woo! This is fun!

Cohen opening his Valentine's treat from mommy and daddy!

Here, dad, take my wubba - I've got to try out my new sippy!

The basket of goodies!

Cohen had a great Valentine's Day - except that he's a little under the weather - AGAIN!! We're soooo ready for Spring! :)

Day 5 of the roseola virus...

My first attempt to get a picture of the roseola rash that appeared when Cohen's fever FINALLY broke...

Will did a little bit better job when C was in the bathtub. (Our philosophy is it can't hurt to document the "bad" as well as all the good!)

Wednesday, I found a box of all of Uncle Michael's Duplo and Legos!

We soaked them in bleach...

...and laid them a-l-l out to dry! Pictures to come of us actually playing with them!

Since we've been home with roseola, Cohen hasn't had much of an appetite. So, we've kind of just been letting him "graze" anywhere. This has resulted in a huge battle to get him to sit in his high chair.

Ah-ha-ha!! Sitting in a grown-up chair is so much more fun!

Then it dawned on me...Cohen's highchair converts to a toddler booster seat. So, I cleaned it up, converted it, and now he can sit at the table like a big boy! (I like this picture...it looks like he's saying a little prayer before he eats!)

Silly boy!! Love that wrinkled nose...

Well, after a trip on Saturday night to the acute care clinic, a trip to the pediatric emergency room on Monday morning (both times with an exceptionally high fever), we got no real answers. However, yesterday morning, his fever FINALLY broke, resulting in a strange rash all over his little body. Will and I (and all of our medical knowledge - thank you Google) diagnosed Cohen with roseola. In case you're not familiar, roseola is a virus that begins out of nowhere with a very high fever (103+), lasting for 3-7 days, ending in a rash (see pictures above) lasting for 1-3 more days. We're so thankful that it was nothing more serious than this. And boy, are we excited to finally get to go back to school tomorrow! Yes, when my child asks me in the morning, "school, go?", I can finally tell him that, indeed, we are going to school today! :)

Trail Rider's Breakfast at school

Cohen and a friend going down the big-kid slide at school! (Looks like someone's excited!)

Handsome, shaggy dude!

Here he goes again!

Fun stuff!

Digging for "gold" with Daddy and some friends!

"I think this is a two-shovel kind of job!"

Heading over to make a macaroni necklace!

Daddy helping Cohen string the macaroni onto his yarn.

Cohen helping, too!

As our school's way to kick off rodeo season here in San Antonio, we celebrate with a "cowboy" breakfast, of sorts. This morning was a lot of fun, and Will even got to come to hang out with Cohen and his class. I got to leave my class for a little bit - long enough to come and take some pictures! Cohen had a lot of fun, even though all he really wanted to do was climb up the stairs, slide, repeat... Such a big boy!

Out of order, but still good pics...

Cohen playing at the park - learning how to go down the slide all by himself!

The Kent family starting 2012 off right!

Cohen's first lollipop = total mess!

When I see this picture of my child combing his hair with his fork, I can't help but think of The Little Mermaid, when Scuttle (the seagull) calls her fork a "dinglehopper!" Haha!

Silly randomness! (out of order because these were taken in late December/early January)

Long overdue...

Day one of what has now turned into a three-week something-or-other for poor Cohen. First croup, then RSV, and now an ear infection...hopefully we're on our way to well!

But life's always better having a snack and some Elmo in Mom and Daddy's bed!

Trying to make being stuck at home fun - Daddy made Cohen (and Clyde) a fort!

Having some fun playing his drum!

Aaaaand this is one of those photographs where I think to myself, "Why didn't I move the laundry and shopping bag out of the background FIRST?!" Oh well...it's still a great shot of Cohen! Such a sweet smile!

Cohen (and Mom) have been a little under the weather for about three weeks now. It's all the stinkin' Mountain Cedar in the air. Needless to say, we will both be VERY glad for Spring! In the meantime, enjoy some pics of that growing boy! :)
