More from spring break!

I found these really neat window markers that I figured, why not sit on the vanity and color with? Something new, and it promotes fine and gross motor development because he's having to hold his "writing utensil" at a different angle! :)

Cohen thought it was pretty cool...

...Clyde, however, did not. He DID NOT like Cohen being up there. This is where he was the duration of this activity - with the same concerned look on his face the whole time!

This is when Cohen realized "Cyde" was down there. But he didn't mind, he was going to sit in the sink, anyway!

Being a big "hep" (help) by putting the lids back on.

While I was cooking dinner, Cohen kept "stirring" the shovel inside the pail and saying "oh no!" I asked him if he needed something to put in it and he said "yes." I resorted to giving him my K-Cups...why not?

Fill and dump...over and over again!

Pausing to take a pretend sip of one! I love how his little imagination is developing! It truly is amazing to watch him grow!

My little Picasso...

Touching the paint on the paintbrush - just to check it out!

The artist at his best...

Hmm...does this color feel any different?!

"Mommy, paint!!"

Making sure I was still there...

It's on my hand!

That's okay, I'll just wipe it off on my, um, belly!!

Again, "Mommy, paint!"

His final masterpieces!

Yes! You CAN paint in the middle of the kitchen because it's drizzly outside! And while you're at it, it's okay that you painted yourself - that's part of the fun! My little artist! Perhaps we should invest in a smock?! :)

Ready for spring!!

Cool Cohen! And, yes, we know...we'll have our work cut out for us when it's time for the "wubba" to disappear! Will has already been telling Cohen all about how the "wubba fairy" will come one day when he is in his big boy bed and take his wubbas away! As of right now, all Will is getting from Cohen are blank stares...

This outfit was too cute for me to not get a picture of. Bless his heart - I think he may have been in the middle of a yawn when I snapped this picture. We get up so early for school! :)

The outdoor chalkboard that Will made for Cohen. However, seeing as how it rained a-l-l weekend, it's still too muddy for us to get to use. I'll post pictures of his artwork whenever he gets to color on it...

We did get to play in our new sandbox, though!

Watching Daddy put the sand in...

...and waiting patiently.

Finally, he got to get in there and check it out!

He was loving digging in the cold sand!

Poor Clyde - he really wanted to get in there with him, he just couldn't figure out how to get his short little legs over the edge of the box... He decided to just be an onlooker from the grass!

We're thankful to say goodbye to winter and welcome spring! We've been working really hard on cleaning up and revamping our backyard so that Cohen (and Clyde) have a fun place to play! More spring pictures to come - as long as we keep having this beautiful sunshine! :)
