Easter 2013

"The Easter Bunny brought me Buzz Lightyear?"

For whatever reason, I can't get this kid to look at the camera these days! And please excuse his strange-looking hair, he woke up this morning with a nosebleed and had blood in his hair that I tried to wet and comb out! :{

"Ready or not, here I come!"

Let the egg-hunting commence...

Happy guy!

"Look what I found!"

I like this one - it looks like he's going to take off running full-speed!

See what I mean...he won't look at the camera! That's a bunch of eggs, though!

We dyed a whole bunch of eggs on Friday night, but when the Easter Bunny went to hide them in the backyard, it was so humid outside the dye was running off of them, so we had to just toss them. Will got these picture before they got pitched out!

April 29th, and we'll find out! :)

Happy Easter from the Kent family!

A bunch of sillies!
We had a wonderful Easter filled with lots of family time and lots of love and laughter! I told Will this morning, it's hard to believe we'll have two Easter baskets to fill next year! Happy Easter to you and yours! Love, The Kents

Cohen's first Texas Rangers baseball game!

Yay! We're on our way to the game!

Cohen was excited to give the "Puffy Taco" a high-five! Only in San Antonio...

Let's go, Rangers! We love baseball!! :)

And Cohen loves popcorn...no worries, he didn't eat all of that by himself!

Having him some lunch before the game started!
Silly boy...he stuck his tongue out!

With his "rally hat" on!
Trying to keep the sun out of his eyes on the way back to the car!

Tired guy! But he wasn't about to put his pom-pom down!
The Texas Rangers came to San Antonio to play an exposition game and Will got us tickets. It was a lot of fun and it was an awesome experience for Cohen. I think he was blown away by it all! He told Will he definitely wanted to go to another game, so Arlington, TX and Rangers Stadium, here we come! :)

Testing out our green thumbs (and helping Dad a little, too!).

Cohen wanted to wear a pencil in his cap, too, just like his Daddy - and I'm not sure why Clyde was so concerned about that!

Look, Mom!

(Sorta) helping his dad work on the dog run!

Cheese!

Is it level?

Planting strawberries with Mom!

He kept saying, "Mmm...it looks delicious!" I think he thought it was something you could eat!

Stir it up!

Excited to see the seeds!

Strawberry seeds are tiny!

Adding a little bit of water!

Watching the strawberries grow...and watching the world go by outside the window!

We also planted begonias...
...and geraniums! Let's see if we can keep them alive!

One last picture of that handsome boy to leave you with!

After helping Will this morning continue working on the dog run that he's building in the backyard, Cohen and I were trying to do something out of the ordinary this afternoon. So, we decided we'd test out our green thumbs. We planted the two planters outside on the front porch and we also planted the strawberries. He's really excited about them and intrigued by the idea that they might grow something he can actually eat! We'll see... Needless to say, that kept us busy! We're enjoying our spring break! :)

Trip to The Witte Museum and bowling for the first time!

Cohen getting ready to dance on the light mat!

He's definitely got moves!
He loves his daddy!

The T-Rex was so realistic!
Cohen was so nervous standing in front of the T-Rex!

See, he didn't want to have his picture taken with his back to that mean-lookin' dinosaur!!
Another dinosaur at the exhibit!

Allosaurus skeleton!

Digging for footprints!

Helping his cousin Jaxson look for a Velociraptor fossil.

Paleontology is serious business!

Giving the elephant outside The Witte a big hug before we left!

Cohen and Daddy bowling for the first time!

Watching Daddy take his turn!

Cousin Jeffery's turn!

And now it's Jaxson's turn!

Mimmy and the boys came down for the first weekend of Spring Break and we had a lot of fun! On Saturday, we went downtown to The Witte Museum to see their Dinosaurs Unearthed exhibit. It was really neat! Then we finished our night having dinner at the legendary Mi Tierra restaurant! Yum! Sunday we had breakfast at the Magnolia Pancake Haus and then went bowling followed by homemade pizza and a chocolate pie for dinner! What a fun weekend! Cohen was worn out both nights but he sure does have fun with his cousins and his Mimmy! :) Now let's just see what he and I can get into the rest of this week (so thankful for 9 days off with my boy!)... Stay tuned!
