Day 5 of the roseola virus...

My first attempt to get a picture of the roseola rash that appeared when Cohen's fever FINALLY broke...

Will did a little bit better job when C was in the bathtub. (Our philosophy is it can't hurt to document the "bad" as well as all the good!)

Wednesday, I found a box of all of Uncle Michael's Duplo and Legos!

We soaked them in bleach...

...and laid them a-l-l out to dry! Pictures to come of us actually playing with them!

Since we've been home with roseola, Cohen hasn't had much of an appetite. So, we've kind of just been letting him "graze" anywhere. This has resulted in a huge battle to get him to sit in his high chair.

Ah-ha-ha!! Sitting in a grown-up chair is so much more fun!

Then it dawned on me...Cohen's highchair converts to a toddler booster seat. So, I cleaned it up, converted it, and now he can sit at the table like a big boy! (I like this picture...it looks like he's saying a little prayer before he eats!)

Silly boy!! Love that wrinkled nose...

Well, after a trip on Saturday night to the acute care clinic, a trip to the pediatric emergency room on Monday morning (both times with an exceptionally high fever), we got no real answers. However, yesterday morning, his fever FINALLY broke, resulting in a strange rash all over his little body. Will and I (and all of our medical knowledge - thank you Google) diagnosed Cohen with roseola. In case you're not familiar, roseola is a virus that begins out of nowhere with a very high fever (103+), lasting for 3-7 days, ending in a rash (see pictures above) lasting for 1-3 more days. We're so thankful that it was nothing more serious than this. And boy, are we excited to finally get to go back to school tomorrow! Yes, when my child asks me in the morning, "school, go?", I can finally tell him that, indeed, we are going to school today! :)
